I lived and worked for three years in Hilversum,
the Nederlands
(which most people
know as Holland).
Hilversum is a small town on the main line between
Amsterdam and Utrecht. Hilversum is best known for its plethora of radio and
television stations. If you happen to have a long-wave radio, look for
Hilversum I and Hilversum II on the long-wave dial.
The restaurant scene in the Nederlands is outstanding.
While working in Hilversum, I had opportunities to visit Utrecht, Eindhoven, Amsterdam,
den Haag (the Haguehome of the World Court), Rotterdam, Bergen op Zoom (for the
Carnival), and Brussels, Belgium.
