In 1986 I returned to the Society Islands for my second visit, but
went to Moorea this time. Moorea and Bora Bora are quite
different islands, both in size and culture. They're both well
worth a visit. In Moorea I spent a lot of time snorkelling in the company
of a friend, and we bicycled down to Cook's Bay.
In 2001 I returned to the Society Islands for a third visit, and spent time on both
Moorea and Bora Bora. This time we stayed in Cook's Bay, and one day we rented bicycles and
cycled all the way (70 kilometres) around the island.
