On one of my trips to Skopje in Yugoslavia, I hitch-hiked across Europe, and Austria was one of the countries I went through on the journey.

I didn't spend a lot of time in Austria, but the city of Salzburg is truly impressive—the castle in Salzburg appears to float above the city.

After Salzburg, we headed south and went into Yugoslavia at the border crossing at Maribor.
