Trilithon Software is the software consulting and software development business of Henry McGilton.

Areas of expertise include operating systems through telephone switches through desktop publishing and financial analysis. Programming language and systems experience includes C and UNIX, Java with the Java Foundation Classes (Swing), and Objective C with NextStep and Mac OS X. I am currently developing desktop application software for Mac OS X.

Other areas of expertise include the PostScript programming language, and SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics). I also consult as expert witness capacity in intellectual property disputes involving trade secrets, patents, and copyrights.

I was project lead developing SunWrite, SunDraw, and SunPaint in the Acquired Software group at Sun Microsystems. I've worked for and consulted for companies and clients in four countries.

I worked for a year with the Java development team at Sun Microsystems during 1995–1996, where I authored the original white paper titled The Java Language Environment. I have developed intranet-based document management and financial analysis applications using Java.

I founded Technical Publications of Sun Microsystems in 1982. I have co-authored two books on UNIX, a book on PostScript, a book on Tabular Typesetting, and a book on principles of investing.
