| Squash |
My first and foremost sport is the venerable game of squash racquets. I play most of the time at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara, California, and occasionally at the San Francisco Bay Club and at the Pacific Athletic Club in Redwood Shores. I've played squash in places as diverse as Toronto in Canada, Salvador de Bahia in Brasil, Huatulco in Mexico, Singapore, and the Cayman Islands. |

I try to play at least three times every week, and four to five times if possible. Squash can be described as a sport where you play squash to keep fit to play squash. For non-squash players, come and watch the game sometimemaybe you'll get hooked and embark on a lifetime sport that'll keep you in top physical condition, while you'll have lots of fun and meet a bunch of great people. I also coached the women and novice squash clinics at the Decathlon Club for two or three years. |

| Skiing |
Skiing is another sport I enjoy greatly. In addition to skiing at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows in the Lake Tahoe region of California, I've had the good fortune to be able to travel to great destination resorts like Park City, Utah, and Aspen, Colorado. |
| Wind Surfing |
I also love to wind-surf, but only when I can wind-surf in warm places. Some of the best experiences have been on Grand Cayman in the Caribbean, where we could wind-surf during the day and play squash tournament matches in the evening. Followed, of course, by high calorific meals to replace all the burned off weight. I've also wind-surfed in Bora Bora, Tahiti, and Kaua'i, Hawaii. |
| Hiking |
The San Francisco Bay Area has thousands of good hiking trails. Great hikes in the Bay Area include Mount Tamalpais, with five hundred kilometres of trails, the Forest of Nisene Marks, Big Basin, Mount Diablo, and the Ventana Wilderness of Big Sur. In addition, I've spent a lot of time hiking in Kaua'i, on the famous Napali Coast Trail, as well as the Kui Lau Ridge Trail. |

| Beaches |
San Francisco Bay Area and areas both north and south have some of the best beaches anywhere. Sometimes after a few hours of hiking, we end the day on a beach where we usually eat our late afternoon lunch and then indulge ourselves in 'bun tanning'. Point Reyes has an exceptionally fine beach at Limantour. |
